    Founder & CEO of Corporate Giving Network

    Joy Stephens, Founder and CEO of the Corporate Giving Network (CGN) has been a fundraising consultant for the last 17 years. Beginning her practice as a generalist in 2007, ten years ago she changed her firm’s service
    offerings to focus primarily on corporate giving and board development.

    Today CGN is a professional development, educational and networking group for fundraisers who want to focus on increasing support, and/or growing their corporate donors. Its educational programming includes an annual conference in mid-March, 14 monthly workshops, and a Board MatchMaking program which finds and trains business professionals for nonprofit boards.

    Joy is an trained adult trainer and has instructed at University of Washington, Western Washington University, Seattle University. She also teaches an eight-week CFRE certificate course in Corporate Giving for Nonprofits.

    Joy serves on the Columbia Tower Club’s Social Impact Committee and in her spare time she is an avid reader, enjoys gardening, makes an attempt at golf & cycling, and travels abroad as much as her schedule allows.
