    Shannon Bowen is nonprofit leader, fundraiser, executive coach, and management trainer. She’s the Chief Advancement Officer for Pacific Northwest Research Institute, Founder and CEO of Monsoon Leadership training and coaching, and a board member for AFP Advancement Northwest in Seattle. Building upon her 17 years of development and communications experience–15 of which was in the San Francisco Bay Area–she’s held several nonprofit leadership positions and built strong teams that retain. Shannon also runs Monsoon Leadership, which provides self-paced online courses, live Zoom workshops, and 1:1 coaching to provide specific, actionable knowledge for nonprofit leaders. She is passionate about mentoring the next generation of managers, is committed to diversifying nonprofit leadership, and has a long history of being rated her staff’s “best manager ever.” She's dedicated to creating healthy workplaces: one manager at a time.
